Loco Zydeco is a six person, high energy, Canadian Zydeco band, based in Toronto, Ontario.
Winning over enthusiastic crowds with an energetic blend of contemporary and traditional Zydeco,
they have created a unique take on Louisiana's most exciting musical export, in all it's toe-tapping, hip-shaking glory.
Loco Zydeco’s first two albums "Yeah, You Right, Eh!" (released independently in the fall of 2003,) and
"This Great White North, Eh!" (released by flamingcheese records in the fall of 2006,) have enjoyed commercial,
community and college radio play across North America. Their third album, "Time To Turn The Key," was released by
flamingcheese records in October 2008, and has enjoyed both North American & European airplay.
Their latest album, “Loco Zydeco” was released in 2017, by Squirrel Head Music.
July 12th, 2002 marked Loco Zydeco’s debut at The Toronto International BBQ & Blues Fest.
Since then they have energized audiences and made new fans at major festivals across Ontario and into Quebec and
New Brunswick. Electrifying performances have solidified their reputation as one of Canada’s most entertaining Zydeco
bands, with shows often becoming a free for all of audience participation. Extra rubboards are always available for
anyone adventurous enough to join the band on stage and upon request, workshops are offered on Zydeco dance or the
history of Zydeco, the rubboard, and Zydeco accordion. Loco Zydeco also performs at private, corporate, specialty and
Mardi Gras-themed events, as well as clubs and bars. Their set list includes their own original Zydeco tunes, covers of
well-known traditional and contemporary Zydeco music and their own Zydeco interpretations of popular songs.

In 2023, Loco Zydeco will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album,
"Yeah, You Right, Eh!" by heading back to the studio to record new material.

Red Hot Ramble performs traditional jazz, blues, funk, along with second lines in the spirit of the great city of New Orleans but with a distinctly Canadian flavour!! Red Hot Ramble is music about people … their ups and their downs ..their loves and their hates … their blues and their celebrations of life!

Guaranteed you won’t be able to sit still when you come to one of our performances … in fact Red Hot Ramble is a much for dancing as it is for listening and singing along too!
