Band Bio:
Based near Toronto, Ontario, The Joel Dupuis Band is an electrifying three piece band that gives an energetic performance, and a straight shot of pure, no filler, rocking blues in the form of soulful originals as well as an original take on old favourites.
At just 21 years of age, Joel Dupuis has played all over the London music scene as well as playing shows and festivals in Toronto, Kincardine, Windsor and everywhere in between. He has shared the stage with the likes of Scott Holt (current lead singer and guitarist of Foghat), Richard Thorton (saxophonist for Jack DeKeyzer), JW-Jones (Billboard Top 10 Blues Artist, 2020 IBC Winner, and JUNO Nominee) and is currently studying guitar under the guidance of the incomparable, Pat Harrington (Victor Wainwright and the Train).
Holding down the low end, on the bass guitar, we have Marc Shickluna. Marc has been with the Joel Dupuis Band since August 2022. He also performs with The LTZ Band (Cheryl Lescom, Rick Taylor and Chuckee Zehr), and has played and recorded with Tell It To Sweeney.
On the Drums, we have Glenn Kitchen. Glenn has been with the band since June 2021. With a thunderous approach to the drums and over 30 years of live playing experience, he adds a massive presence and keeps everyone tight and in check.
Together, The Joel Dupuis Band is an experience, delivering an unforgettable live show that you won’t want to miss.
